Job Summary
Process and file paperwork to establish or transfer vehicle ownership, including preparing tax and title documents, printing checks for title work, and submitting legal transfer documents to the DMV. Check in new titles from auctions and wholesalers, create deal paperwork for purchases, and process titles for lease and loan payoffs. Post checks or cash for vehicle sales and call financial institutions to obtain and pay off lien amounts. Handle refunds for overcharges and assist with other duties as assigned. Follow scheduled hours as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to be bonded by Company insurance carrier and maintain bond requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 1-3 years of previous title processing experience is preferred
- Automotive accounting experience is highly preferred
