Job Summary
Experienced Title Processor needed to manage residential and commercial title files from opening through post closing for New Jersey and national transactions. Responsibilities include ordering/reviewing title searches, commitments and surveys; identifying/clearing title defects; coordinating with attorneys, lenders, buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and other parties; preparing files for closing; scheduling closings; ensuring compliance with underwriting requirements; handling post-closing activities including policy issuance; maintaining accurate records and managing multiple transactions simultaneously. Must independently manage titles end-to-end, demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Direct title processing experience
- Experience handling both New Jersey and national title files
- Strong understanding of residential and commercial title transactions
- Ability to independently manage files from opening through post closing
- Experience clearing title issues and coordinating all aspects of the closing process
- Strong knowledge of title commitments, title clearance, closing procedures, and post closing requirements
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage a high volume of files
- Professional, reliable, responsive, and detail oriented
- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and handle pressure
- Strong communication and problem solving skills
- Takes ownership of files and requires minimal supervision
- Knowledge of New Jersey title practices and national title transactions
