Job Summary
Part-time Title Officer I prepared to examine and analyze property titles to ensure they are clear of encumbrances, identify and resolve title defects, review deeds, liens, easements, judgments, and verify tax information, while assisting with title reports, commitments, policies, and navigating title plant systems. The role involves coordinating with clients, title assistants, and internal teams to support accurate real estate transactions, pricing commitments and policies, and participating in business development and client relationship activities. Proficiency in title/escrow software and Microsoft Office is expected, along with strong communication and customer service skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–2 years of progressive experience in escrow, title, or real estate
- At least 1 year of experience as a Title Assistant or Title Officer
- Strong knowledge of title plant resources, tax records, and title insurance procedures
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title/escrow software
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
