Job Summary
Landman conducting title and mineral ownership research, analyzing public records, and preparing client-facing reports to support drilling operations, lease acquisitions, and related activities. Responsibilities include researching county records to determine surface and mineral ownership, documenting title information, preparing clear reports for client review, managing multiple assignments to meet deadlines, and communicating findings to project managers and team members. Ideal candidates demonstrate strong research and analytical abilities, meticulous attention to detail, independence in handling priorities, and the ability to deliver accurate results on schedule.
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience conducting title, mineral, or ownership research in the Texas side of the Permian
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) or Energy Management degree may be considered in lieu of some experience when combined with relevant industry knowledge
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
- Experience using Adobe Acrobat
