Job Summary
Provide impartial, confidential consultation to parents, staff, and community members regarding gender discrimination, sexual harassment, and sexual assault. Act as a neutral investigator to receive, monitor, and track Title IX complaints, interviewing parties and witnesses to ensure fair resolutions. Maintain accurate records, develop case management databases, and prepare monthly reports reflecting ongoing concerns and trends. Assist with policy revisions to ensure District compliance with state and federal laws, and create student-friendly resources for reporting. Deliver in-person and virtual trainings to teachers, staff, and students on consent, healthy relationships, and prevention efforts. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement age-appropriate education and promote institutional culture change related to gender-based violence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college of university
- Possession of a Title IX Coordinator certification or willingness to complete Title IX Coordinator training upon hiring
- Five years of relevant experience and demonstrated experience conducting investigations
- Experience in public sector Title IX investigations
- Conflict resolution/mediation skills
- Valid California Driver's License, if applicable
