Job Summary
Monitor and evaluate senior center operations and nutrition providers to ensure compliance with Older Americans Act and DAIL requirements. Lead community-based outreach activities that increase awareness of services for underserved populations, including conducting presentations, attending coalitions, and establishing partnerships with healthcare and social service agencies. Provide technical assistance to providers, facilitate quarterly meetings, and support the implementation of person-centered programming that promotes independence. Track outreach outputs and OAPPS data to inform continuous quality improvement and aging area plan goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human services, public administration, social work, or related field
- Experience in aging services, community outreach, or program administration
- Experience with federal or state grant programs (OAA preferred)
- Knowledge of the Older Americans Act, specifically Title IIIB Supportive Services
- Knowledge of community outreach, public awareness strategies, and service delivery with the Aging Network
- Ability to interpret and apply federal, state, and local regulations and policies
- Ability to provide technical assistance and program oversight
- Effective communication and public presentation skills
- Ability to build and sustain community partnerships
- Ability to analyze data and use it to inform outreach and program improvements
- Ability to prepare clear, accurate reports and documentation
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in computer systems and data tracking/reporting tools
- Ability to make sound, independent decisions
- Travel within the service region is required for monitoring, outreach, and community engagement activities
Desired Qualifications
