Job Summary
Coordinate with internal departments, external organizations, and entertainers to develop, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive co-curricular program enriching the student experience through social, cultural, recreational, and educational activities. Collect, organize, and maintain student feedback via surveys and assessments while analyzing data related to student activities, engagement, wellness, and services. Prepare promotional materials, newsletters, and flyers to support communication efforts through email, social media, and event planning for workshops and campus activities. Assist with Title III Grant initiatives by managing research, data collection, reporting, and program documentation while maintaining accurate records for compliance. Provide administrative support including filing, data entry, mail distribution, and facility reservations, and respond to inquiries from students and campus partners. Maintain event equipment inventory and participate in required training and safety drills. Work Sunday through Saturday from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM, including possible late hours and weekends, in an in-person role at Tsaile Campus.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of a 2.5 term and cumulative GPA
- Be enrolled part-time (7+ credit hours) or a full-time student at Dine College in the Fall 2026 semester
- Must be enrolled in a degree program at Diné College and have completed at least 24 credit hours at the College
- Must be in good academic and social standing
- Ability to perform accurate, detailed, and high-quality work with strong attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and collaborate professionally with members of the campus community
- Ability to adapt and perform efficiently in a fast-paced, evolving work environment
- Ability to adhere to established work rules, follow directions, manage time effectively, and consistently meet deadlines
- Proficiency in operating an office workstation and utilizing standard office software, including word processing, spreadsheet, and related applications
- Ability to comply with and follow all applicable College policies and procedures, plus the College's 3P Manual and Student Code of Conduct
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in group settings
- Dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented, with a strong sense of personal accountability
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities
- Moderate experience with audio and visual setup, including basic troubleshooting for meetings and events
- Knowledge of and experience using integrated software systems and Microsoft Office applications, with proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, Publisher, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to coordinate, organize, and support meetings and special events efficiently and professionally
- Ability to perform moderately complex clerical duties, including assisting with data collection, compiling statistics, and maintaining long-range calendars for multiple venues and programs
- Ability to coordinate multiple recreational, educational, and social programs simultaneously while maintaining organization and attention to detail
- Ability to work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal exposure to safety or health hazards, while remaining adaptable to varied work settings as needed
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, based on programmatic and operational needs
- The ability to lift and carry moderately heavy materials weighing up to approximately 25 to 50 pounds
- Work may require sitting, near vision use for reading and computer use, lifting, stooping, bending, stretching, walking, standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, and other physical exertion
- Ability to speak fluently in Navajo
