Job Summary
Coordinate the annual Title IIA grant application and monitor implementation of approved programs to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations. Manage grant activities in the State management system, including budgets, amendments, and final reports, while collaborating with the Business Office to reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies. Provide technical support for professional learning initiatives, process reimbursement requests, and maintain accurate records for audits. Serve as the primary contact between Grand Rapids Public Schools and private school partners to facilitate equitable services and program planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Experience with project management
- Strong multi-tasking skills
- Extremely organized with work processes and meeting deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter who can quickly and correctly prioritize assignments to meet the needs of multiple priorities and to stay on top of the details
- Proven ability to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment
- High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations and documentation
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems (listen, identify problems, and collaboratively problem solve)
- Demonstrated ability to make good decisions that are consistent and fair within contractual guidelines and board policies
- Excellent spelling, grammar, written and oral communication skills
- Ability to provide excellent customer service
- Regular on time and in person attendance
- Ability to stand and/or walk during most of the working day
- Ability to turn, stoop, climb, bend, push, pull, reach for, and carry materials and equipment
