Job Summary
Work with students in small groups and individually under the teacher's direction, providing physical assistance when necessary. Assist with lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities while ensuring the safety of yourself and others. Complete an additional 6 hours in Early Childhood Education within a year of hire. This 7-hour-per-day position runs Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at Betz Elementary School. Applicants may discuss flexible hours if selected for an interview.
Required Qualifications
- 48 hrs of college credit
- 6 of those in Early Childhood Education
- complete an additional 6 hours in Early Childhood Education within a year of the hire date
- not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of himself/herself or others with or without reasonable accommodations
- capable of regularly attending to the duties of the position assigned and for the duration of the assignment
- able to lift and provide physical assistance when necessary
- capable of assisting with lunchroom responsibilities, toileting, transportation, and recreational activities
