Job Summary

The Title Examiner is responsible for accurate examination and preparation of title commitments and title policies. Essential duties include examining search packages, preparing title commitments and policies, engaging with Underwriters regarding examining decisions, contact with attorneys for title questions, and managing final decisions on examining issues. Candidates must have 3-5 years of title examining experience, excellent verbal and written skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks with attention to detail.

Required Qualifications

  • 3-5 years previous title examining experience
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Excellent mathematical skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks
  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work with confidential information and data
  • Proficient knowledge of office machines
