Job Summary
Title Clerk responsible for handling motor vehicle title processes, including acquiring titles from original owners, processing lien payoffs, and transferring titles to receiving dealerships. Maintain inventory records on IDS; ensure accurate and timely titling/registrations of vehicles. Requires knowledge of DMV rules, multi-state tax codes, and loan origination functions. Emphasizes detail orientation, organization, and strong verbal/written communication skills. Job includes lifting up to 25 lbs and/or 50 lbs with assistive devices. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years' experience in title work
- Familiarity with DMV rules and requirements
- Knowledge of loan origination functions
- Knowledge of State Tax Codes
- Knowledge of Sales Tax for multi states
- Microsoft Office experience preferred
- Detailed oriented and well organized
