Job Summary
Responsible for researching, evaluating, and recommending new technologies for the title department; manage and prioritize projects; design and develop systems to attain maximum efficiencies and minimize costs; test and support title/escrow applications; provide user training; SoftPro experience strongly preferred; develops project plans, coordinates activities, documents recommendations, and ensures successful deployment and support of applications; supports end users and assists in the training of users on application use; emphasizes understanding of title/escrow software, SQL Server Reporting Services, and general technology adoption to improve business operations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology or other related field or equivalent knowledge or work experience
- Experience with title operating software; knowledge of SoftPro 2.0 strongly preferred
- Real estate industry experience
- Title or title closing experience
- Experience with Visual Basics
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to plan, analyze, think creatively about solutions to business problems, and initiate and manage change
- Ability to translate technical information into user-friendly language
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
