Job Summary
Review and analyze inbound and outbound vehicle title and registration documents for accuracy and submit them to government agencies. Research and resolve title issues for vehicles aged beyond 15 or 30 days, and communicate with customers via chat, phone, and email to resolve registration/title questions. Collaborate with government personnel as needed to resolve discrepancies, and coordinate with internal staff to correct issues identified during purchase or sale. Demonstrate attention to detail, clear communication, time management, active listening, and critical thinking to diagnose and resolve routine and complex title/registration problems. Requires ability to work independently and meet established benchmarks for accuracy, timeliness, cure rates, and efficiency. The role may include additional duties to support the title and registration function. Notary experience is a plus but not required.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent required
- 18 years or older
- 1+ years of experience in a vehicle dealership and/or processing vehicle registration paperwork is preferred
- Notary helpful but not required
