Job Summary
Title Administrator at ADESA processes automotive titles through the auction workflow in a customer-facing front office. Responsibilities include greeting onsite visitors, assisting customers at the front counter for title needs, reviewing and analyzing titles for accuracy, applying DMV rules and fee structures, calculating estimated fees, completing title transfers per jurisdiction, submitting duplicate-title requests, verifying buyer/seller/vehicle information in databases, updating records, processing payments, maintaining title filing, and generating/reviewing reports. Requires strong customer service, data-entry, organizational, and communication skills, plus knowledge of DMV title requirements and the ability to navigate title-related documentation; 18+ with valid driver’s license and 1 year of automotive title experience preferred. Notary certification and DMV certification may be required depending on location; role is not visa-sponsored.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred
- Notary certification preferred
- Active certification from state DMV for Title and Registration processing may be required depending on location
- 1 year of previous automotive title experience typically obtained from an auction, dealership, or state motor vehicle department
- Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver’s license
- Able to safely drive a variety of make/model/sizes of vehicles
- Proficiency with computer systems and applications
