Job Summary
Title I Tutor responsible for delivering standards-aligned lessons to K-8 students using Performance Academies resources. Responsibilities include designing and delivering instruction aligned with state standards, differentiating instruction, and using assessment data to personalize learning; implementing PBIS and character education; maintaining accurate records and schedules; supporting enrollment and retention efforts; promoting equity and inclusion; collaborating with teachers and administrators; and reporting student progress. Must foster engaging, inquiry-based learning environments, utilize curriculum maps, and ensure safeguarding and supervision of students during tutoring sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution
- Valid state certification in Education or the ability to obtain certification
- Proven success in working with K-8 grade students in a classroom setting, particularly in diverse and inclusive environments
- Strong understanding of child development, pedagogical theory, and best practices in education
- Proficiency with digital tools and platforms related to classroom instruction and assessment
- Commitment to using Performance Academies’ instructional resources exclusively in curriculum delivery
