Job Summary
Conduct pull-out Title I services for students with signed permission slips, maintaining open communication with homeroom teachers, parents, and Ignite Education Solutions. Prepare and deliver lessons by accessing academic standards, utilizing supplemental materials, and reviewing IEPs or non-public equivalents as needed. Create a schedule featuring up to 15 minutes of prep time per instructional hour, with remote delivery via Zoom when required. Provide regular classroom management support and coordinate activities based on teacher input. Work a flexible schedule based on district needs, with a pay range starting at $25 per hour and part-time benefits including PTO, longevity bonuses, and 403(b) savings.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in early childhood/elementary education from an accredited college or university
- certification in Elementary Education or Special Education
- Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including: four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test
- Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time
