Job Summary
Part-time Title I Reading Interventionist (29 hours weekly) in Thomasville, NC, a temporary position with 10-month terms and partial benefits. Provides an additional layer of intensive, explicit, and differentiated reading instruction; plans and sets instructional goals using data; collaborates with school personnel to support school improvement and MTSS; identifies students at risk and develops intervention goals with classroom teachers; communicates with parents; aligns with ESSA Title I requirements; maintains documentation of student progress; integrates technology and 21st-century skills to support reading, leadership, accountability, and collaboration; participates in ongoing professional development to stay current in reading intervention practices.
Required Qualifications
- Valid N.C. teaching certificate with appropriate grade level certification (full-time and part-time)
