Job Summary
Title I Reading Interventionist for a 10-month, part-time role (25 hours weekly) at a Title I school in Lexington, NC. Provides intensive, explicit, and differentiated reading instruction, collaborates with school personnel to support MTSS and school improvement goals, uses diagnostic data to plan targeted interventions, maintains ongoing communication with parents, and participates in professional development to stay current with research-based reading practices. Reports to the Principal and supports students through data-driven instructional planning, progress monitoring, and implementation of reading interventions. Salary is $20/hour. Resume required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid NC teaching certificate with appropriate grade level certification
- NC Reading License (full-time only)
