Job Summary

Title I Reading Interventionist position supports the Title I Reading program by delivering intensive intervention and classroom support to students in a Title I school. Responsibilities include organizing and planning targeted reading instruction, using diagnostic data to set instructional goals, collaborating with school staff to implement MTSS and the school improvement plan, identifying students at risk of reading difficulties, developing intervention goals with teachers, documenting progress and meetings, providing parent conferences, communicating progress through newsletters and reports, integrating technology to maximize instruction, and participating in ongoing professional development to improve reading intervention practices.

Required Qualifications

  • Valid N.C. teaching certificate with appropriate grade level certification (full-time and part-time)
  • N.C. Reading License (full-time only)
