Instructional Interventionist Teacher responsible for promoting students' mental, physical, emotional and social growth. Plans and implements instruction using varied materials, maintains accurate records (attendance, health, report cards), and prepares weekly lesson plans. Ensures classroom management, adheres to state/parish regulations, collaborates with school personnel, and communicates with parents about student progress. 183-day work year in Jefferson Parish Public Schools; requires a valid Louisiana teaching certificate or eligibility for a practitioner's license and a bachelor’s degree. The role involves classroom instruction, use of instructional materials, assessment and placement, and ongoing professional development.
