Job Summary
Lead liaison for tissue donation programs in the South Texas service area, focusing on hospital development and community outreach to maximize donor referrals and education. Build and maintain relationships with hospitals, cord blood/birth tissue programs, funeral homes, and external partners; deliver education sessions for hospital staff on the donor referral process; monitor referral outcomes and conduct refresher trainings to reduce variances; participate in hospital performance improvement activities; provide data on referral outcomes and contribute to donor awareness and program growth. Requires strong communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills, with the ability to work flexible hours including weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid United States Driver’s License
- Three or more years of experience in marketing, health education, public relations, or non-profit
- Public speaking experience
- Preferred two or more years of experience in a hospital setting and/or tissue bank
- Background in staff training and education helpful
