Job Summary
Fill trays with soil, grade plants by size and quality, and transplant them into prepared trays. Trim, water, and apply fertilizers to maintain plant health while preparing and loading plant racks for shipping. Wash glassware, clean laboratory areas, and assist with culture media preparation and sterilization. Perform routine maintenance on greenhouse and nursery equipment while keeping work areas clean, organized, and safe. Follow safety protocols, wear appropriate protective gear, and adhere to Standard Operating Procedures. Work primarily in a greenhouse setting with occasional outdoor tasks under varying weather conditions, requiring the ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift heavy objects for extended periods.
