TIRR Occupational Therapists, Inpatient & Outpatient

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations, interpret findings, and develop written plans of care with individualized goals. Implement treatment programs, perform basic OT skills, and supervise COTAs and rehab technicians on patient care. Monitor patient progress toward treatment goals, adjust plans as needed, and instruct patients or caregivers using appropriate methods. Communicate effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and insurance companies. Document all interactions and treatments accurately in medical records. Present special topics at clinic meetings, grand rounds, and conferences as requested. Serve as a clinical instructor for OT or OTA interns and mentor less experienced staff. Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors while adhering to all hospital policies and standards. Manage time effectively and complete other duties as assigned.
