Job Summary
Manage weekly BIT and Opacity reports in Fusion, creating Excel spreadsheets of unit locations and due dates. Locate customer contact information via Fusion L/R contracts to schedule on-site or in-house preventative maintenance appointments. Distribute work orders to assigned fleet-techs for performance, verify yard units for service currency, and review incoming work orders for follow-up repairs. Issue backup data records to clients and coordinate outside vendors or sub-unit rentals as needed. Open, process, and scan all work orders for BIT, PM, and Opacity services. This role supports a family-owned fleet shop established in 1978, emphasizing safety, transparency, and a "Can Do" attitude.
Required Qualifications
- Must have prior experience as a service writer in a commercial transportation shop
- A high level of business ethics and confidentiality
- Excellent interpersonal and customer-facing skills
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- The flexibility and willingness to learn
- The ability to work as part of a team
- The ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
- Must be available Saturday & Sunday Off
