Job Summary
Perform tire and wheel maintenance, inspections, and repairs on company-owned equipment to ensure safety and manage tire inventory. Evaluate tire conditions for failure analysis using specific guidelines to maximize cost effectiveness while loading and unloading tires for shipping and receiving. Work in a fast-paced environment to assist others in achieving organizational objectives. This role supports Swift Transportation, the #1 full truckload carrier in the nation, within a team focused on safety, honesty, and mutual respect.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Drivers License
- Comprehensive Background Check
- Pre-employment Hair Test drug screening
- Must possess superior customer service and computer skills
- Must be able to understand repair manuals, repair orders and fill out tags
Desired Qualifications
- Entry-level knowledge of vehicle systems and basic vehicle maintenance preferred
