Job Summary
Mount, balance, rotate, and repair all types of tires, including passenger, light truck, large truck, and industrial. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair commercial vehicles while performing fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks. Operate a service truck (F-350) to respond to service calls and load/unload inventory for stock counts. Use and maintain Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS) while following all safety procedures and training guidelines. Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to lift tires weighing 30–250 lbs. and perform sustained physical exertions. Flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays are required, with possible overtime. Southern Tire Mart is the #1 North America Commercial Tire Dealer since 2012.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older
- 21 years or older to drive
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
