Job Summary
Tire Technician responsibilities include mounting, balancing, rotating, and repairing tires for passenger to industrial applications; diagnose and repair commercial vehicles, perform fleet inspections and routine maintenance checks, operate a service truck for on-site calls, load/unload inventory, and manage tire-related tasks with TPMS awareness while adhering to safety guidelines and company policies. The role requires flexibility for evenings/weekends/holidays and may include overtime; benefits include 401(k) with matching and health/dental/vision/life insurance, plus paid on-the-job training and growth opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years or older; 21 years or older to drive
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Experience with heavy-duty/commercial tires preferred, but not required
- Ability to lift/move tires weighing 30–250 lbs., with or without mechanical assistance
- Able to perform repetitive and sustained physical exertions, including bending, lifting, kneeling, and exposure to vibrations
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Overtime maybe required
