Job Summary

Tire Technician responsible for maintaining fleet vehicle tires and related components in compliance with regulations and company policies. Duties include inspecting tires and wheels, mounting/dismounting tires, performing tire-related roadside replacements, maintaining tire inventory, and ensuring shop areas and equipment are orderly. Role requires operating a computer to record time, repair orders, and parts usage; handling spills response (oil, antifreeze, debris); and supporting other areas of the vehicle maintenance shop as needed. Must have the ability to move and lift heavy tires, use torque and impact wrenches, and interact professionally with internal and external customers. Occasional travel between offices and compliance with safety requirements (DOT card, English language proficiency) are expected.

Required Qualifications

  • One year tire service experience preferred
  • General knowledge of truck wheels and tires
  • Ability to use torque and impact wrenches
  • Must be able to obtain Tire Industry Association (TIA) Certification if needed
  • Valid DOT Medical Card or able to obtain prior to hire
  • Must be at least 19 years old
  • Legally eligible to work in the United States
  • Must read and speak English
