Job Summary
Tire Technicians at Love’s perform tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in shop and roadside service, with responsibility for equipment repair and store facility maintenance. The role involves lifting heavy objects (75+ pounds), working in varied temperatures, and following safety policies. You will interact with customers and drivers, provide service to improve journeys, and participate in a rotating day/night schedule. Training is provided if you have no experience, and opportunities include tuition assistance, comprehensive benefits, and career development. DOT medical card obtained at company expense is available. The position is based at Maple Rapids, MI and requires in-person work.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (DOT) (paid by Love’s)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with customers in a fast-paced environment (preferred)
- Ability to learn tire service tasks and safety procedures
- Willingness to work rotating day/night shifts (as needed)
