Job Summary
Tire Technicians perform tire sales, removal, and replacement for commercial vehicles in both shop and roadside settings, while assisting with equipment repair and maintenance of the store facility. The role requires lifting 75+ pounds, working in varying temperatures, and adhering to safety policies. You’ll interact with customers and drivers, provide service in a fast-paced environment, and participate in a rotating day/night schedule. The position includes the opportunity for DOT medical-card qualification (paid by Love’s) and company-provided benefits such as tuition assistance, PTO, 401(k) with matching, and health insurance. Prior experience is not required as training is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to move, lift 75+ pounds
- Ability to obtain a medical card through the Department of Transportation (DOT) (paid by Love’s)
- Ability to work in shop and roadside service environments
- Be able to work in various temperatures
- Commitment to safety policies & procedures
- Willingness to work a rotating schedule that alternates between day and night
