Job Summary
Replace tires and tire-related parts on cars, trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. Secure assets for lifting, dismount and remount wheels securely, and operate all related equipment and tools. Evaluate tires to assess use versus misuse and handle road call repairs. Assist with inventory control, complete necessary paperwork, and follow OSHA, MSHA, and company safety policies. Operate independently while collaborating as a team member. Perform tasks as assigned within the scope of the position.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License A
- Clean driving record for past 5 years
- Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical and drug screen
- Tire repair certification and/or previous experience
- High School Diploma or GED
- Able to handle unexpected situations at a moment's notice
- Strong work ethic
- Computer knowledge
- Mechanical - Knowledge of equipment, machines and tools including their designs, uses, repair and maintenance
