Job Summary
Mount and dismount tires, perform flat repairs, air pressure checks, balancing, and rotations. Inspect vehicles per VIR training, tighten lug nuts to proper torque, and recommend safety services. Conduct oil changes, shuttle customers, and assist with phone and counter duties. Receiving product, organizing warehouse inventory, and cleaning bay areas and parking lots. Complete end-of-shift cleanup and facility maintenance. Assist with store opening and closing including EOD.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver's License
- Insurable Driving Record
- Minimum age requirement: 18 years
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand 80% of the time
- Must be able to walk 70% of the time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, kneel, and twist
- Must be able to walk on uneven surfaces
- Must be able to use hands and fingers for grasping and dexterity
- Must be able to communicate visually, auditorily, and verbally
- Must be able to work in noise, dirt, dust, mechanical vibration, fumes, and outdoor conditions
- Must be able to work in extreme heat/cold or wet/humid environments
- Must be able to handle occasional hazards due to mechanical equipment, moving objects, and roadside work
- Must be able to use computer and keyboard
- Must be able to operate tire machines, compressors, air tools, and hand tools
- Must be able to use company-provided software and system for work orders and inventory
- Must be able to use protective gear (PPE)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a vehicle maintenance shop
- High school diploma equivalent
