Job Summary
Conduct advanced tire, oil, filter, and lube diagnostics and procedures, including mounting, balancing, TPMS, flat repair, and rotation. Perform remove and replacement functions such as battery and filter installations, wiper blade, headlamp, and bulb replacement. Execute visual inspections under hood, under car, and wheel off while operating equipment like tire machines, balancers, lifts, and alignment racks. Manage tire inventory functions including stock inquiries, shipping, and receiving. Recognize noise or vibration problems after road testing and perform facility maintenance duties. Work 40 hours weekly at Cassidy Tire & Service, a 110-year-old family business in Chicagoland committed to quality customer service and affordable repairs.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Results driven individual who is proactive and very detail oriented
- Strong team player that interacts well with others
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal skills)
- Ability to work 40 hours a week
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of diagnostics and repair work preferred
- Automotive and/or tire knowledge and skills preferred
