Job Summary
Perform tire repairs, replacements, and general service to tires and wheels at customer locations, on the road, or at the shop. Raise vehicles with hydraulic jacks, use air tools and heavy hand-held tools to mount, dismount, balance, and repair passenger and light trucks. Execute alignments and perform oil changes while maintaining safe driving records and operating a commercial service truck. Communicate all work performed via legible tags, work orders, and invoices. Maintain daily equipment, tools, and vehicle safety, including using seat belts, jack stands, and wheel chocks. Requires TIA certification, valid driver's license, and knowledge of passenger/light truck tires.
Required Qualifications
- Must be or willing to get TIA certified
- Valid Driver's License
- Successful completion of pre-employment background checks and drug screening
- Knowledge of Passenger/Light Truck tires
- Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must frequently lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds
- Must occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to work standing up
- Must be able to walk
- Must be able to use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment
- Must be able to speak and listen, both over the phone and in person
- Must be able to reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Must be able to work in a seated position
- Must be able to climb or balance
- Must have close vision
- Must have distance vision
- Must have color vision
- Must have peripheral vision
- Must have depth perception
- Must be able to adjust focus
- Must be able to taste or smell
- Must be able to work on feet for entire shift
- Must be able to lift/bend throughout shift
