Job Summary

Tire Specification Systems Technician will manage tire Spec release and change processes in SAP across Goodyear (TP0) and Cooper (RP1) systems. Responsibilities include creating product codes (material numbers) and master BOM spec numbers in RP1, creating product UPC codes for Cooper branded products, maintaining alignment between Goodyear and Cooper SAP systems (AP0/RP1), refining SCC networks and signoff procedures, troubleshooting SAP spec issues at plants, training North America and Latin America Product Development teams on SAP tire spec systems, collaborating with IT on changes to Spec systems, maintaining data process flow documentation and procedures, and ensuring cross-training of team members on Cooper system tasks. Candidate should have 3+ years of tire design/manufacturing experience, experience with TP0/RP1 SAP Tire Specifications, knowledge of tire certifications and government regulations, and experience working on a global team; IT background is a plus.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of tire design or tire manufacturing experience

  • Good knowledge of Tire Certifications and Government Regulations
