Job Summary

Safely manipulate tire and rim assemblies on loaders, forklifts, tractors, and trailers while identifying tires needing replacement due to normal wear, abnormal wear, or damage. Follow proper procedures to mount, dismount, and install tires on equipment, including service calls at remote locations away from the garage. Document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings, signage, part numbers on log sheets and work orders, and track parts and tire usage. Log labor hours on work orders and log sheets. Ability to manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour D-shifts involving walking, standing, bending, pushing, and pulling up to 75lbs in all weather conditions. Must recognize and document equipment details, hold a valid driver's license, and pass an MVR check with no DUI/DWI convictions in the last 12 months.

Required Qualifications

Must be able to recognize and document equipment ID numbers, mileage readings and signage
Document part numbers on log sheets and work orders
Track parts/tire usage
Document and log labor hours on work orders and log sheets
Must have 3 mo. work history in past 6 mo.
Must have a valid driver's license
Must pass MVR check
Must be 18 years of age or older
Must not have any DUI/DWI convictions within the last 12 months
Must be able to manipulate 200lb tire/wheel assemblies with mechanical assistance for 12-hour shifts
