Job Summary
Responsible for assisting members in the selection and purchase of tires, properly installing and repairing tires (mounting, dismounting, rotating, balancing), and maintaining the tire bay and related documentation. Maintain a clean and professional tire bay and waiting area; merchandise tire displays and automotive products; provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk; coordinate with Home Office on tire needs and ensure inventory accuracy. Regular, predictable attendance required. Qualifications include being at least 18 years old, valid drivers license to operate automatic and manual transmissions, strong interpersonal and basic computer skills, prior tire installation experience preferred, and the ability to lift up to 30 pounds with assistance. Michelin training levels 1–4 must be completed within three months of hire. Environmental conditions include exposure to indoor/outdoor temperatures and moving equipment; occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds; must comply with safety and DOT-related requirements for propane tanks. The role offers a $1,000 sign-on bonus and is part-time at a Foley, AL location. BJs Wholesale Club emphasizes teamwork, safety, and member-focused service.
Required Qualifications
