Job Summary
Assist members in tire selection, purchase, and installation including mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing. Perform tire repairs, fill propane tanks per DOT requirements, and dispose of tires according to club policy. Complete necessary tire bay documentation, scheduling data, and sales/service orders while maintaining accurate supply inventory. Merchandise tire displays, ensure the tire bay and waiting area remain clean, and uphold safety and cleanliness standards. Coordinate with Home Office for special-order tire programs and verify vehicle tire sizes. Maintain a friendly attitude, resolve member concerns, and adhere to GOLD Member Standards and club policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
