Job Summary
Assist members in tire selection and purchase, including verifying vehicle sizes, while performing mounting, dismounting, rotating, and balancing. Properly install and repair tires, coordinate special-order programs, and manage inventory for automotive products. Complete all necessary bay documentation, scheduling data, and propane tank refills per DOT requirements. Maintain a clean, organized tire bay and waiting area, ensuring compliance with safety standards and club policies. Provide knowledgeable service at the tire desk and escalate member concerns as appropriate. Prioritize regular, predictable attendance and full compliance with GOLD Member Standards.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
