Job Summary
Tire Sales and Installation TM Part Time at BJ’s Wholesale Club seeks a team member to assist members in selecting and purchasing tires, properly install and repair tires, complete tire bay documentation, maintain tire bay policies, and deliver knowledgeable service at the tire desk. Responsibilities include mounting/dismounting/rotating/balancing tires, proper disposal of tires, maintaining a clean tire bay and waiting area, merchandising tire displays and automotive products, coordinating with Home Office for tire needs, maintaining inventory, utilizing special-order tire programs, and ensuring safety and club standards. Requires 18+ years old, valid driver’s license (automatic and manual), strong interpersonal and basic computer skills, and willingness to complete Michelin training within three months. Prior tire installation experience is preferred, and ability to lift up to 30 pounds with assistance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills or a willingness to learn basic computer skills.
- Prior tire installation experience preferred.
- Must pass Michelin training levels one through four within three months of hire.
- Ability to lift over 30 pounds with assistance.
