Job Summary
Retread Tire Technician at Pomp’s Tire Service responsible for refurbishing used commercial tires by applying new tread, inspecting for quality and safety, painting and stacking tires, patching as needed, and documenting repair information on work orders. Duties include handling tires at workable heights, using hand tools to envelope tires, loading/unloading in the chamber, and maintaining a safe, clean work environment. Must be able to lift up to 150 pounds occasionally and work in a fast-paced setting; 18+ years old; ability to work independently or in a team with minimal supervision.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and up to 150 pounds occasionally
- Ability to read and verify work order information
- Ability to work in fast-paced environment

- Reading/writing and basic math skills
