Job Summary
Perform tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation while conducting oil changes, multi-point inspections, and documenting vehicle conditions. Maintain shop cleanliness and safety by following all procedures, reporting concerns to supervisors, and transporting customers as needed. Pick up parts and supplies while driving vehicles safely and courteously in compliance with traffic laws. Work eight-hour shifts with Saturdays included and Sundays off, adhering to Sun Auto's core values and policies.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- Must be able to stand up to eight hours per day in the shop
- Must be able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day
- Must have full range of motion with arms and hands
- Must be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
- Must have a high level of motivation
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Desired Qualifications
- Some knowledge of basic automotive systems
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous automotive experience
- Passion for cars
- A strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn
