Job Summary
Conduct tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and rotation while performing oil changes and light vehicle maintenance. Perform multi-point inspections and document vehicle conditions, then keep the shop clean, organized, and safe. Drive vehicles safely to pick up parts, supplies, and transport customers as needed. Follow all safety procedures, report concerns to the supervisor, and support team members with assigned tasks. Work eight hours standing, bending, and lifting up to 70 pounds in an environment with moderate to loud noises and potential exposure to hazardous materials. Requires a valid driver's license, clean driving record, and flexibility to work Saturdays with Sundays off. Previous automotive experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Flexibility to work Saturdays
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
- Full range of motion with arms and hands
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Ability to stand up to eight hours per day
- Ability to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Ability to communicate with customers and shop personnel
- Previous automotive experience
- High level of motivation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
