Job Summary
Entry-level General Service Technician position at Monro in Charlotte, NC. Starting day 1, you’ll join a comprehensive mechanic training program and perform maintenance services on Guest vehicles as part of a collaborative team focused on delivering 5 Star Guest experiences. Responsibilities include changing, mounting, and installing tires; wheel removal and tire repair/balance; quick lube duties such as lubrication and oil changes; tire inspections and rotations; basic automotive maintenance like battery installation; and training to perform alignments, brake services, and scheduled maintenance. Compensation is hourly and based on experience, with incentives and an additional $2 hourly rate on work performed.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or GED equivalent
- Automotive experience
- Own basic set of Mechanics tools or participate in tool purchase program
- Valid Driver license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Positive attitude and a collaborative mindset
- Ability to work with hands overhead, stand for long periods and lift 50 lbs
