Timetabling Coordinator

Job Summary
Develop the University's teaching timetable by aligning it with educational objectives and business rules while maximizing resource efficiency. Liaise with key stakeholders, IT Services, and event organizers to collect requirements, manage ad hoc bookings, and resolve room allocation issues. Conduct semester room audits to support utilization studies and coordinate facilities support for events at Saigon South Campus. Interpret and contribute to policy development for timetabling and facilities services. Manage staff relocation records and mitigate emergent problems associated with room bookings or events.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree relevant to the business administration or relevant field
- At least 3 years work experience in a large, multi-faceted organisations
- A proactive approach to planning, coordination and delivery of work
- Strong skills in coordination, liaison, and communication
- Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with a range of individuals, cultures and situations to ensure optimal outcomes, together with high levels of oral and written communication, negotiation skills and problem solving
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to continuous improvement principles
- English is the language of teaching and communication at RMIT Vietnam
- IELTS with a score of at least 6.0 (or equivalent, as outlined in the Recruitment, Selection and Onboarding Guidelines)
- All new employees are required to undergo background checks prior to commencing employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in timetabling and room booking within an educational environment preferred
