Job Summary

Maintain accurate daily records of employee work hours, shift assignments, overtime, leave, and labor distribution by collecting, reviewing, and verifying timesheets and attendance data. Coordinate with supervisors to resolve discrepancies involving work hours and labor coding while ensuring records comply with company policies, labor agreements, and regulations. Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly labor reports for management review and support payroll processing by submitting timely workforce data. Utilize computerized timekeeping and payroll systems to track labor utilization across cargo operations, vessel loading, and warehouse activities. Support audits and inspections by maintaining organized documentation and generate reports on labor costs and staffing metrics. Work in an office environment within a military cargo port facility, occasionally visiting terminal and waterfront areas, with flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in timekeeping, payroll administration, workforce administration, or related clerical functions.
  • Experience maintaining detailed records and performing data entry with a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain installation access credentials and security requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting maritime, port, transportation, logistics, warehouse, or military operations.
  • Experience working with unionized labor workforces and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Familiarity with payroll systems, workforce management software, or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
  • Knowledge of labor reporting, payroll processes, and workforce scheduling.
  • Experience supporting U.S. Government or Department of Defense contracts.
  • Familiarity with cargo terminal, stevedoring, or military logistics operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report generation.
  • Capable of working under pressure during periods of increased operational activity.
