Job Summary
Floor Supervisor at Timberland leads a store team to achieve sales targets and deliver best-in-class customer experiences. In partnership with the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager, the role focuses on training and development, payroll monitoring, visual merchandising, loss prevention, and adherence to company policies, while fostering an inclusive, customer-centric environment and actively engaging with the local community. The position emphasizes brand ambassador responsibilities, adherence to brand standards, and collaboration to drive profitability and store performance through customer engagement and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ years of store management experience in a fast-paced, highly engaging retail environment
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales results
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business; will require weekends, evenings, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proven ability to meet business goals by driving results through store team
- Willingness and desire to learn and to share knowledge of products, local community, experiences and activities relevant to the store’s customer base
- Ability and desire to provide a highly engaging customer experience through individual service, conversation and relationship building
- Excellent decision-making ability in a fast-paced environment
- Detail oriented
- Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets, and software programs
- Preferred: Experience in a specialty retail environment, retail footwear/apparel industry experience
- High School Diploma or GED
