Job Summary
Own projects from handoff to completion by creating 3D fabrication models, 2D drawing packages, and managing project milestones. Coordinate with clients, architects, and shop craftspeople to obtain fabrication approvals, issue change orders, and track material procurement for timber, SIPs, and steel products. Maintain full budget oversight in Acumatica ERP, manage purchase orders, and generate client invoices based on milestones. Perform site visits for field measurements and laser scanning to update models, while ensuring precise joinery details and safety logistics for raising. Collaborate with subcontracted engineers to meet structural requirements and maintain full communication with the timber frame shop.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of construction and interpreting architectural design drawings
- hsbCAD/AutoCAD Architecture
- Outlook
- Excel
- K2 CAM Software
- Acumatica ERP Software
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- High precision in detailing joinery to ensure seamless fabrication and assembly during raising
- Strong communication skills including in person meetings, video meetings, phone calls, and emails
- Full-year, full-time role
