Job Summary
Lead the development and implementation of safe work practices, specifically in ergonomics and material handling, while creating, reviewing, and auditing LOTO policies, JHAs, and SOPs. Facilitate Behavior Based Safety, participate in safety committees and daily audits, and implement quality control procedures to ensure product integrity and specification adherence. Drive recovery improvement, waste reduction, and efficiency gains through continuous facility performance reviews and corrective action plans. Train hourly team members, manage direct report performance, and lead hiring for both hourly and salary positions. Monitor product samples, coordinate with maintenance, and communicate operational defects to drive cost reduction and process excellence.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years supervisory/operations experience
- Strong technical background in the tile/ceramic industry
- previous quality control experience
- strong communication skills

- Good computer skills in word processing, spreadsheets and databases
