Job Summary
Conduct in-person Tigrinya interpretation for local Nebraska medical clients while maintaining strict HIPAA confidentiality. Translate complex medical terminology accurately during appointments and manage client interactions using our online portal for voucher printing and uploading. Ensure all communication adheres to privacy laws and company safety protocols. This independent contractor role requires transportation to Omaha, M-F 7AM-5PM availability, and proof of vaccination. Required Qualifications
- Fully bilingual
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality/ HIPPA compliance
- Must have access to a printer
- Must have transportation to attend appointments locally
- Availability M-F 7AM-5PM
- Background checks and drug screens required
Desired Qualifications
- Interpreting experience and/or certification preferred
